Through the course on Tuesday, I had a preliminary understanding of design. The task given to us is about Russel glacier. In the morning, we do some research about this area and made a mind map. I found out the environment and terrain of this area and made an art work of this area，I do this work with colored paper, watercolor and charcoal strips. My deficiency in this survey is that I research the natural environment here, but did not research the creatures here and the lifestyle of the residents here. In the future investigation and the development of works, I want to investigate some parts about the life of local residents. I am more interested in this part. In the afternoon, I made a model of things that can be related to the local area. I made a hat that can keep warm. I think it is very important for the local people to keep warm.
